Install Lawdex on your phone or computer
Add Lawdex to an iPhone, an Android phone or a computer, so it opens in its own window with its own icon and can send notifications. No app store.
Lawdex works in the browser, and you can also install it from the browser. Once installed it opens full screen from your home screen or taskbar, and it can send push notifications for hearings, tasks and comments. There is nothing to download from an app store, and it updates itself.
iPhone and iPad, in Safari
- Open lawdex.app in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an up arrow).
- Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
- Tap “Add”. Lawdex now has its own icon on your home screen.
On iPhone and iPad, adding Lawdex to your home screen is required before you can turn on push notifications. That is an Apple rule for all web apps.
Android, in Chrome
- Open lawdex.app in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner.
- Tap “Install app” (or “Add to Home screen”).
- Confirm, and Lawdex is added to your app drawer.
Once installed, open Lawdex and enable notifications in Settings to get alerts on your device.
Desktop, in Chrome, Edge or Brave
- Open lawdex.app in your browser.
- Look for the install icon at the right of the address bar.
- Click it, then click “Install”.
- Lawdex opens in its own window and pins to your taskbar or dock.
No install icon? Use the browser menu and choose “Install Lawdex” or “Create shortcut”.
